Mississippi Bow Hunts for Deer

Hilltop Outfitters offers a three and four day archery hunt. A limited number of hunters will be hunting each week, no more than six. This way, you will be guaranteed that your hunting area will not be over hunted. Before each hunt, stand location will be determined by wind direction, temperatures, weather fronts, and deer activity. After breakfast, each hunter will be taken to his stand site before daylight and will be picked up at a time agreed upon by the hunter. Hunters can bring their own stands to hunt out of if they prefer. At 11:30 A.M., we will eat lunch and rest up until 2:00 that afternoon. We will then hunt until dark. A guide will pick the hunter up and return back to camp for a hot meal. Guides will be responsible for tracking and getting your kill back to camp. If a hunter wants his trophy mounted, we will have access to a very reputable taxidermist, and we will deliver your head to him.

Rifle Hunts

Hilltop Outfitters offers a three and four day hunts with up to eight hunters per hunt. Before each hunt, stand location will be determined by wind direction, temperatures, weather fronts, and deer activity. Be prepared to make accurate shots out to 250 yards. Most shots will not be that far, with the average being under 100 yards. We will work with the times that we set for hunters to be in the woods hunting. If the rut is in full swing, the hunter needs to spend as much time in the stand as possible. We will do our best to make each hunt enjoyable and exciting for each hunter. We offer different styles of deer hunting, one being stand hunting where the hunter sits on the stand watching trails, food sources, and bedding areas. Then there is still hunting where the hunter and guide stalk through bedding and feeding areas, stopping every so often to glass for that trophy buck. When the deer are holding up and not moving due to the moon or weather, we will make drives to make the deer move.
